Libra is the seventh astrological sign in the zodiac between September 23 and October 23. The symbol of the scales is based on the Scales of Justice held by Themis, the Greek personification of divine law and custom. She became the inspiration for modern depictions of Lady Justice. Libra is the only zodiac sign that is represented by an object; with the other eleven signs represented by either an animal or mythological character.
Librans are extroverted, cozy, and friendly people. They, just like the Scales that symbolize the sign, are often concerned with attaining balance, harmony, peace, and justice in the world. They are full of charm, intelligence, frankness, persuasion, and seamless connectivity. They are sociable, rational, and detached when dealing with situations.
